Year 7 Team building
This week, our wonderful new Year 7's took part in their Team Building event at Mount Edgcumbe.
Team work and House spirit is something that is encouraged throughout the students experience at PHSG. The new Year 7's are divided into their Houses (Temple, Anthony, Latimer and Kendall) and, as part of their transition into Year 7, they take part in a team building event at Mount Edgcumbe.
Each Year 7 House, along with their staff House Leader, take part in numerous Team building activities, organised by the Plymouth Schools Sports Partnership. They work together, getting to know their peers and accelerating the bond between the students.
They are introduced to independent thinking and the feelings that they may experience throughout their school journey, along with the important message of being kind to one another and taking time for their own wellbeing.
The students were amazing throughout the week, and we were delighted at their resilience and the beginning of their life long friendships.
