PHSG Staff Host a Sweet Success: Macmillan Coffee Morning! ☕🍰

The staff at PHSG gathered in the staff room today for a very special event: a Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was a wonderful opportunity for colleagues to come together, share delicious home made treats, and raise funds for a great cause—all while enjoying a well-deserved break!

Staff members went above and beyond, baking and bringing in an impressive selection of cakes and treats. From classic sponge cakes to creative bakes, the staff room was transformed into a mini bake-off, filled with the delicious aroma of freshly baked goodies.

The spotlight of the morning was on two winning creations. The Lemon and Blueberry Cupcakes stole the show with their tangy, sweet flavours, earning the title of Best Tasting. Meanwhile, the beautifully decorated Carrot and Walnut Cake took home the award for Best Presented, thanks to its artistic flair and attention to detail.

The event was not only a fun way to indulge in some sweet treats but also a meaningful way to support Macmillan Cancer Support, raising funds to help those affected by cancer. The atmosphere was warm and cheerful, making the event a true success.
