Year 12 A Level Law Students Get Insight into Legal Careers with Barrister Visit

Year 12 A Level Law students were treated to an engaging and informative visit from Nigel Hall, a respected local barrister from KBG Chambers. During the session, Nigel shared invaluable advice on a variety of legal careers, outlining different pathways into law and offering a glimpse into the exciting world of legal practice.

The students were captivated by the fascinating stories Nigel shared, recounting memorable moments from criminal trials he has both defended and prosecuted over the years. His real-world experience brought the subject to life and provided a unique perspective on what a career in law truly entails.

A highlight of the visit was a fun and interactive moment where Nigel invited Year 12 student Evie to try on the traditional barrister’s wig and gown. Evie took the opportunity to imagine what it might be like to pursue a career as a barrister in the future, a moment captured in the picture sown.

We are grateful to Nigel Hall for taking the time to visit and inspire our students with his wealth of knowledge and experience. His visit has undoubtedly sparked further interest in the legal profession amongst our budding law students!
