There is no problem too big for our student Mathematicians!
On Wednesday 10th November a group of students sat the Senior UKMT Mathematics Challenge. The 90-minute multiple choice challenge promotes the students love of problem-solving.
The challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. The problems on the Senior Mathematical Challenge are designed to make students think. Most are accessible, yet still challenge those with more experience.
The Senior Mathematics Challenge is aimed at students in years 13 and below, but traditionally the papers are sat by year 12 and 13 students only. As you can see from our results this some year 9 and 10 students were also up for the challenge!
