Our students have been celebrating the Platinum Jubilee throughout the week with events which have included an interactive Commonwealth Map, where students have highlighted the Commonwealth countries and indicated where they have connections to them.

They have also created and written cards to the queen, congratulating her on her reign which we have sent to Buckingham Palace. A selection imaged below.

We finished off celebrations today with a ‘Big British Picnic’ on the courts, where students and staff came together with picnic blankets and flags to listen to music and enjoy the glorious weather. There was singing and dancing by everyone and concluded with the National Anthem. It was great to see everyone having a wonderful time to finish off the term on a high.
