Team work and House spirit is something that is encouraged throughout the students experience at PHSG. The new Year 7's are divided into their Houses (Temple, Anthony, Latimer and Kendall) and as part of their transition into Year 7, they take part in the legendary PHSG camping trip. 

Each Year 7 House, along with their staff House Leader stays overnight at Sconnerdown Farm in Polbathic, Cornwall, where they take part in numerous Team building activities, orgnasied by the Plymouth Schools Sports Partnership. They work together, getting to know their peers and accelerating the bond between the students. 

They are introduced to independent thinking and the feelings that they may experience throughout their school journey along with the important message of being kind to one another and taking time for their own wellbeing. 

The students were amazing throughout the week and we were delighted at their resilience to the rainfall and storms that they encountered.
