In summary:

• The cost of the Silver Expedition has been reduced from the original £199 down £50 to £149. This is because we are now going to run the Silver Expeditions using qualified staff at PHSG rather than using an external company. In addition to being more affordable, the school believes that this will increase the quality and therefore experience of the students.
• The deadline for the expedition payment is Thursday 1st April 2021.
• Because of this recent change, the school is extending the deadline for students to join Silver DofE until Friday 6th November. The attached DofE enrolment form and £22 DofE registration fee also need to be completed by this date.
• Students presently completing their Bronze can still continue to do this but will need to sign up for Silver by 6th November if they wish to join.
• Students who have not done Bronze can also join as 'direct entrants' which means they just have to do a little more time on one of their DofE activity sections in lieu of not having done Bronze.
