This was the PE Department's first joint venture with Plympton Academy and the journey passed without incident, and we arrived safely at the University in time for a quick look around the facility. On arriving at the netball venue, the atmosphere was electric as Team Bath made their appearance amid dimmed lights and fireworks.

The game was incredible to watch with displays of incredible fitness and skill from both teams. 6 of the England Roses were playing and it was inspiring for the students to see top level sports people in action.

London Pulse were the winning team, scoring 76 to Team Baths 43 and the athletes from both teams stayed after the game to sign the students' programmes and souvenirs, which was great fun for all.

It was a great trip and hopefully the start of many more joint sports trips in the future. Thanks to the PE teams from both schools for making it happen.
