Headteacher's PA

PA to the Headteacher (Grade D, Point 8) Actual Salary £17,080
Fixed Term / Term time + 5 Additional days (39 weeks)
37 hours per week (Flexibility with some Saturdays to assist with the 11+ examinations – time off in lieu will be given)
Required March 2020
 
We are looking for an exceptional person to be the Headteacher’s Personal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable and successful experience of working as a Personal Assistant.  She/he will understand the need to be discrete and respect the confidentiality of the Headteacher’s office. Presenting a calm, professional and cheerful persona and thriving on a flexible approach are essential.
 
You must have the ability to be proactive, work effectively under pressure and have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people and situations independently. Excellent IT/social media skills are essential and experience of a school environment would be a significant advantage.
 
Our ideal candidate will:
Possess excellent administrative skills and thrive working in a fast-paced environment where the ability to multi-task and prioritise is key.
Possess excellent organisational skills; particularly managing an online diary and communications.
Be able to reduce pressure on the Headteacher by having good judgement; guiding and taking the initiative with forward planning 
Be confident and enjoy working with 11-18 year olds
Have a working knowledge of SIMS
Have some HR experience
 
You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life and be able to work both independently and as part of team.
