    A huge congratulations to all the talented students who entered the Frozen Art competition! We were thrilled by the outstanding level of creativity and skill demonstrated by each submission. Mrs. Marcer Griffiths and Miss Roughton were incredibly impressed by the quality of the work, making it a very challenging task to select just one winner. After much deliberation, we decided to feature three fantastic designs to be showcased in the official school programme!

    On 30th January, our school canteen, Chartwells, will be celebrating the Chinese (Lunar) New Year with a vibrant pop-up menu featuring delicious Chinese cuisine. This themed menu is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience and enjoy a variety of traditional dishes, all while learning about this important cultural celebration.

  • Year 12 A Level Law Students Get Insight into Legal Careers with Barrister Visit

Clara has worked hard to make continuing improvements to her written work, seeking guidance and engaging with feedback in a positive, mature and tenacious attitude. This drive and ambition to be the best symbolises true PHSG spirit. Well done, Clara!'' Nominated by Miss Readey. Awarded 10 House Points. 
    Lauren, 10K. ''for her huge progress in physics, going up two grades in her most recent assessment.'' Nominated by Miss Cook. Awarded 10 House Points. 
    Class of the week: Ruby G, Ella F, Ruby S, Issy J in Year 8. ''For assisting a Year 7 student who fell and injured herself on the way to school. Despite the injury, blood etc, they took her to A01 from the other end of Mutley. Ella F also helped with the accident report form. A lovely example of how our students look after each other.'' Nominated by Mrs Hore.

  • Vaccinations for Years 9, 10 & 11

    Kernow Health is delivering the school-age immunisation programme in Cornwall and Devon on behalf of NHS England. We will be immunising year 9 (and a year 10 & 11 catch-up clinic) against Tetanus/Diphtheria/Polio and Meningitis ACWY at PHSG on 24th February 2025. Parental consent is needed for this immunisation; the link to the form can be found in the article below.
