PHSG Open Event Shines: A Night of Exploration, Inspiration, and Community!
Yesterday, PHSG opened its doors to welcome families for our highly anticipated Open Event—and what a fantastic evening it was! The school was buzzing with excitement as families toured the various departments, meeting our expert teachers and exploring everything PHSG has to offer.
Each department put on a brilliant showcase, with specialist teachers on hand to answer questions and provide insights into their subjects. Whether it was learning about the wonders of science, exploring creative arts, or discovering the intricacies of languages, visitors were given a true taste of the rich and diverse curriculum at PHSG.
The evening included a standout talk from the Head Student Team, who shared their personal experiences of school life, the opportunities they’ve enjoyed, and the supportive, inclusive atmosphere that makes PHSG so special. Their enthusiasm and passion for the school really shone through, leaving a lasting impression on prospective students and their families.
No PHSG event is complete without a delicious treat, and the GCSE Food and Nutrition students delivered in style with their homemade cookies, which were a big hit with everyone. The scent of freshly baked goods filled the halls, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the event.
With such a large turnout, the school was delighted with the response and the enthusiasm from all who attended. The evening was a perfect reflection of the busy, vibrant, and supportive environment that PHSG prides itself on.
As the event came to a close, we wished the students good luck with their 11+ entrance exams and look forward to seeing some of them join the PHSG family next year.
