Emma Shines in British Youth Musical Theatre’s New Production!

This summer, Emma, 11K, had the incredible opportunity to perform in the British Youth Musical Theatre production of the new musical When We Strike in London. After auditioning back in February, Emma beat out over 1500 applicants to secure one of the 300 spots in the 2024 company. She was selected as part of the London cast, made up of 28 talented girls aged 11-21 from across the UK.
In just two weeks, Emma and her cast mates learnt and developed the punk rock musical, based on the 1888 Match Girls Strike.
Their hard work culminated in two days of performances at the Southwark Playhouse, where they received 5-star reviews from London theatre critics.
Emma’s next adventure with the company is just around the corner, as she will be returning to London to perform in their Christmas Concert this December.
