Celebrating Our First 150 Foundation Bursary Recipients

We are delighted to announce that Isabel and Bailey are the first recipients of the prestigious 150 Foundation Bursary. Introduced this year to commemorate PHSG’s 150th anniversary, this bursary was established to provide additional financial support and encouragement to our students, enabling them to make the most of their educational journey.

The bursary aims to empower recipients by providing resources, equipment, and access to opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. It reflects our commitment to ensuring that all students have the tools they need to excel and reach their full potential.

Bailey said:

As a recipient of the 150 foundation, I am grateful, as this money will help me go onto university.

Isobel said:

Plymouth High's motto is 'For life, not school, we learn' and I feel as if this opportunity is one of those moments that has given me a chance that I did not have before and will benefit me and my future, not just for my time in school.

Congratulations to Isabel and Bailey on receiving this special honour. We look forward to seeing how this bursary will enhance their experiences and outcomes during their time at PHSG.
