We cannot wait to find out more about our new Leaders, to find out about their roles, interests and what they hope to achieve at PHSG over the next 12 months please visit the HST website page here or follow their Instagram page

Any Year 12 student is welcome to apply to be on the Head Student Team. There are four places on the team which consists of a Head Student and three Deputy Head Students.

Each student will take on a specific leadership role within the team and alongside the roles, the Student Leaders are also involved in organising and hosting school events and assemblies.

In addition to this, they have fortnightly meetings with the Headteacher to discuss ideas, update on developments and communicate the student voice of the school.

The roles are a great way to develop a vast array of skills and are highly regarded to the students at PHSG as the ultimate privilege and Student Leadership role to aspire to.

Our new 2025 Team said:

Hi, I’m Annabelle. I’m your new Head Student and Head of Student Council.

I’m really looking forward to continuing the progress our student council has made; there are already so many brilliant ideas I’m excited to work on! I can’t wait to engage with all of the students to ensure their voices are heard and to further promote student voice across the school.

I can guarantee that the Head Student Team and I will bring plenty of enthusiasm to our roles and that we’ll have a productive and meaningful year as we’re all so eager to hit the ground running!

Hey, I’m Nour the new head of diversity and inclusivity.

I’m looking forward to being part of the HST 2025, especially as someone who has joined the school in year 12. I’m so excited about this new role and the opportunity to make positive changes in the school that hopefully last for a very long time.

My main aim for HST 2025 is to truly celebrate diversity and embrace our diverse community in PHSG through making the school a safe place where everyone gets to be their unique selves. Please find me if you have any ideas or suggestions that you would like to share with me.

Hi, I'm Emily, charity and well-being ambassador for 2025.  I'm really looking forward to working with everyone and, hopefully, with all your help, we can raise lots of money for our charities this year!

I’m Tegan, deputy head student and editor of ‘Hear Me Out.’ I am aiming to produce a minimum of two issues of the magazine, and I am so excited to create and take on board ideas. I am hoping you will all love the magazine, and I am looking forward to seeing all your contributions in the new year.
