2025 is a new chapter with a real focus on my business Taigh Companion. Originally, I started looking at smart home tech to help out with my grandad as his dementia picked up. One thing led to another and a year later I was sat with an Alumni innovate award from Bath university, as well as huge amounts of support along the way.
Taigh Companion creates custom smart home technology systems for dementia care. Assisting in low level care needs to enable independence in the home for as long as possible. Think of it as a personal assistant that helps monitor and maintain your routine, whether it’s nudging you to wear your hearing aids or holding your hand through making cups of tea.
We are in the preparation stages of our pilot roll out, so if you or anyone you know might be interested in having our systems please let me know, connect on a social channel, or put through a contact form on our website.
