Student of the week: Daisy B, 10K. ''For her brave contributions during the Y10 PSHE Day'' Nominated by Miss Cook. Awarded 10 House Points. 
Class of the week: 8B English. ''Superb engagement with 'The Yellow Wallpaper', with deep connections being made between the novel's context and content. Great engagement with reading aloud and behaved brilliantly all week. Several students within the class have markedly improved their behaviour since last week and there have been several contributions to class discussions from previously quiet students.'' Emily H, Year 12. ''For being an inspirational leader of a humanitarian project / club she set up. She has linked to a school in Cairo, Egypt and has recruited Year Seven students to share creative projects such as plays and poems. Her year 7 group are growing in members, full of enthusiasm and the projects they are creating are fantastic. Well done to Emily for setting this up!'' Nominated by Miss Joynes.

Ruby S, Tilly D, Matilda H, Margot E (7K), Emily U (9A) and Molly G (13) Cross Country Runners. ''For outstanding performance in the Devon Schools Cross Country Champs last Saturday at Exeter Arena, the four Year 7s were the first four Plymouth girls to finish (all inside top 25) and Molly G came 4th in the Senior race.'' Nominated by Mr Goodchild.

7T IT. ''Excellent work with supply, sharing ideas and helping each other, persevering through technical issues.'' Nominated by Miss Noble.

11p/Ma3. ''Super work on DIRT since we completed the mock papers. Still motivated and engaged on all topics and super effort being put in by the whole class.'' Nominated by Miss Roughton.

10K Tutor Group. ''For their high engagement during the Y10 PSHE day, they asked important questions, listened intently and as a result, learnt a lot of important messages.'' Nominated by Miss Cook and Miss Lewin

9C Art class with Miss Walsh. ''Brilliant start to the clay project. The class have been extremely engaged and working well on their hand drawings.''
