Year 7 Cultural Exchange
Year 7 students are given the opportunity to become pen pals with students at our partner school in Mayotte.

Students are sending letters, postcards and local treats as part of our exchange programme and the students are excited to receive a parcel from the island in return.
The exchange programme is an opportunity for students to discuss topics with peers and a way in which they can experience a different culture with other students from around the world.
Mayotte is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique. It’s a department and region of France, though traditional Mayotte culture is most closely related to that of the neighbouring Comoros islands.
