The sports council, along with our wonderful Mrs Goolden, organised a cake sale at breaktime and sports challenges on the courts at lunchtime. Amongst the activities there was a penalty shoot out against some of our lovely volunteer staff and students, basketball/netball shots in a minute against our resident basketball star Miss Cook, speed bounces in 30 secs, how many people skipping at the same time… all of which involved a small donation to the worthy charity. 

The sports council would like to say a big thanks to all who baked and bought cakes for the sale along with buying them back at break time, we raised an incredible £136.

The activities on the courts were great fun and raised an additional £36.50, thanks to all that got involved, the students (and staff) really enjoyed it. 

Together with the mufti money we are hoping to have raised almost £700 so well done to everyone involved!
