Local Barrister, Nigel Hall, presents to PHSG Year 12 Law students
This week, year 12 Law students were fortunate to receive an informative and engaging Bar None presentation from Nigel Hall, local barrister from KBG Chambers.
He advised on legal careers and routes into them, as well as entertaining with stories of criminal trials he has been involved with defending or prosecuting over the years.
Although realistic about the amount of work involved, Mr Hall left many more students considering the vocation than he started with. He dispersed myths that barristers are all from restricted backgrounds, with one student remarking on how ‘down-to-earth’ he seemed and saying it made her realise that ‘someone like her’ could do it too if she works hard enough.
