Top-performing students in various subjects and grade levels were commended for their diligence and commitment to learning. The awards serve not only as a testament to individual achievements and endeavours, but also as a source of inspiration for peers striving for academic success.

The event was hosted by our Head Student Team and our guest speaker for the event was our very own ex-head student of the 2019 Team, Saja Altamimi. Saja is an inspirational student leader and is passionate about ensuring that everyone has a voice. She has always been a real advocate for those who felt under represented. 

Saja left Plymouth High in 2020 after her A-levels in English, Drama and History and continued her education at Queen's University in London. 

Our Chair of Governors, Mr Mark Beaven, handed out the school awards and the winner of our Jean Hooper Student of Excellence was awarded to Lara D. 

The event was not just a recognition of achievements; it was a celebration of the spirit of excellence that permeates every aspect of PHSG's ethos. As students and their parents left the venue, inspired and proud, they carried with them the memories of a night that truly celebrated the students and all that they had achieved.
