This is the highest accolade any cadet can achieve and means they become ambassadors for their unit and service. They have the opportunity to become part of special occasions within the community which are not available to others. 

Georgina had to carry out many tasks against other applicants, including a first aid scenario, making a presentation and team exercises. Each task was evaluated by a panel of judges and Georgina's outstanding performance across all elements awarded her the district title of Cornwall Lord Lieutenant Cadet of the Year 2024. She received her award at a ceremony at Truro cathedral and will spend the year accompanying the Lord lieutenant on official duties around the county.

Georgina's duties have already started, with radio interviews for both Cornwall and Devon Radio, along with a Cornish times newspaper article.
