Climate Change Protest

Posted on: 20th Sep 2019

PHSG students organised a series of lunch time activities in support of the anti-climate change movement. There were opportunities to write to our local MP, make pledges to reduce their reliance on single use plastics, give speeches and to support our school charity, The Devon Wildlife Trust.

Dr Hazel Gibson from The University of Plymouth came to speak about climate change from her perspective as a Geologist.

The hour long event gave students the chance to make their voices heard and to consider the views of others. A valuable opportunity that was extremely well managed by the Head Student Team.
